Cancel your subscription
iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Besto › Cancel. You keep everything until the end of the period you paid for. Then nothing is paused, and your rules stay saved.
Restore a purchase
New phone, or reinstalled? On the plans screen, tap Restore at the top left. Or tap the gear on Home, then Subscription › Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID you bought with.
Ask for a refund
Refunds come from Apple. In Besto: gear on Home › Subscription › Request a refund. Apple will email you.
Besto says “Screen Time is off, so Besto can’t pause apps.”
Besto needs Apple’s Screen Time permission to pause the apps you pick. Tap Open Settings on that message and allow Screen Time again. Apple asks for your passcode; Besto never sees it. Your rules are saved in the meantime.
The pause doesn’t appear
Check that notifications are on for Besto: iPhone Settings › Notifications › Besto. With notifications off, the pause can’t open, and paused apps won’t open either.
No. Only the apps you pick get the pause. Calls and messages can stay never paused.
Yes. After the pause, open it for 2, 5, 10 or 15 minutes. Open it again within half an hour, and the times get shorter.
Your pause history, your reasons and your app list stay on your phone. Apple gives Besto a sealed token for each app, so we can’t even read the app names. An account is optional, and it holds only your email, name, plan settings and, if you turn on backup, daily totals.
No. The Besto Score shows how your phone habits are going, from 20 to 100. It’s worked out on your phone and stays there.
